Who can I help?
I counsel predominately women, including trans women.
The women I work have often been through trauma in their lives, sometimes childhood trauma, sometimes relational trauma, sometimes abuse, domestic violence or rape. They sometimes experience a fear of abandonment, suicidal thoughts, feeling empty, numb or overwhelmed.
They might have been labelled, or label themselves as too emotional, impulsive, self-destructive, unlovable, or unstable. They might have diagnoses like BPD, EUPD, Autism or ADHD, or relate to these diagnoses.
They are often perfectionists.
They might find it difficult to maintain relationships, or try to numb their feelings with food or alcohol. They might find parenting, pregnancy, birth or the relentless nature of motherhood really tough.
They might be struggling to conceive, or have miscarried, they could be going through IVF.
They often feel things deeply.
If any of this sounds like you, I can support you to find a way to live in a world that can feel impossible to navigate.
